How to track your hours with the Clock

The Clock keeps your hours in this browser on this device, with no account. Here is everything it does.

  1. Clock in when you start. Tap the big button once. The time you started shows under it; tap "Started" to correct it.

  2. Clock out when you finish. Enter any unpaid break in minutes and it comes off your hours. "Keep working" cancels.

  3. Fix or add a shift. In Today, tap a shift to change its times or note. In Week, tap a day to add hours you forgot.

  4. Add your rate under Pay. Enter your hourly rate to see what each day and week earned. A job can have its own rate or a fixed price.

  5. Pick where you work. Under Pay, choose your province or state. Overtime, double time and stat holiday rules fill in, and you can change any of them.

  6. Track time off and set a reminder. Time off tracks vacation as it accrues. Reminder asks whether you are still clocked in after a number of hours.

  7. Keep your hours. They stay in this browser on this device. Use Download in Week at the end of the week for a CSV or PDF before clearing your browser or changing devices.

Good to know

  • A shift under a minute is discarded as a double tap.
  • An overnight shift counts on the day it started.
  • Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
